Cortland Apple Tree

Size:  4-6 feet    Sun

Very large, red, with pure white flesh.  Taste sweet with some tartness.  Ready to pick in September.  Cold hardy.  Reliable annual bearer.  A long time general all purpose favorite.

Semi-dwarf, will reach 12-15 ft. at maturity.

These trees are semi-standard and will come as bareroot stock. Dig hole wide enough to accommodate the roots when spread out. Plant with bud union 3 inches above the soil line to prevent the graft from rooting. Fill the hole, and pat it down to eliminate air pockets. Water thoroughly. All apple varieties require other varieties of apples to pollinate and produce fruit.
