Anjou Pear Tree

Size: 4-6 ft. tall, bareroot stock.

An all-purpose (including juice), large fruit that is sweet, juicy and crisp. Ripens late Sept. Stores very well. Anjou pear is a good pollinizer for almost any other pear. Growth – M-F

Semi-dwarf, will reach 12-15 ft. at maturity.

These trees are semi-standard and will come as bareroot stock. Dig hole whide enough to accommodate the roots when spread out. Plant with bud union 3 inches above the soil line to prevent the graft from rooting. Fill the hole and pat it down to eliminate air pockets. Water thoroughly. This pear variety is somewhat self fertile but will fruit better if cross pollinated with other pears.
