Emperor Francis Cherry

Fruit is large, yellowish-white and high quality with outstanding rich flavor.  Ripens in June.  Tree is productive and hardy.  This cherry tree is an old established variety in Michigan.  It is often raised to make maraschino cherries.  Needs a pollinator.

These trees will come as bareroot stock.  Dig hole wide enough to accommodate the roots when spread out.  Fill the hole and pat it down to eliminated air pockets.  Water thoroughly.  Soil around the base of the tree should be slightly higher so excess water does not puddle there.
