Excellent fast-growing cover for stabilizing banks or sloping areas due to its ability to spread by root suckers.  Orange to red fall foliage color.  Yellowish cylindrical flowers.  Its fruit is an important winter food for birds.  Grows in sandy soil.  Drought tolerant.  This plant is NOT poisonous sumac.  Growth -S
