Gibson Golden

This is a smooth skinned apple selection of the Golden Delicious.  The fruit is sweet, crisp and juicy with a nuance of spice.  The fruit color is a deep yellow with specks of green.  This apple tree is vigorous and productive.  The apple ripens mid-September and should not be picked too early.  It is a great fresh eating apple, great for desserts and for salads.
