Golden Russet Bosc Pear Tree

Size: 4-6 ft. tall, bareroot stock.

Highly attractive, russeted, medium sized fruit. Great for canning, freezing, dessert, cooking, baking. Harvest this frost resistant variety in late Sept. Growth – M

Semi-dwarf, will reach 12-15 ft. at maturity.

These trees are semi-standard and will come as bareroot stock. Dig hole wide enough to accommodate the roots when spread out. Plant with bud union 3 inches above the soil line to prevent the graft from rooting. Fill the hole and pat it down to eliminate air pockets. Water thoroughly.  While the Bartlett Pear is self fertile but by adding another variety of pear you increase the chance of pollination.  Most pear varieties require other varieties of pears to pollinate and produce fruit as does the Bosc.
